What will it cost me?


Home-Start is a charity, our support is completely free of charge. So no need to worry about hidden costs!

What areas do you cover?

We cover all areas in Redbridge, unfortunately we do not support other areas. To find your local Home-Start please click the globe. 

Is Home-Start the right support for me?


At Home-Start Redbridge we are available to support you for a number of reasons. Click the icon above for more information.

How long will my support be for?


You support is not on a time limit. We are there for you no matter how long you need us for. 

Who can I talk to if I am worried or have a complaint?


 We want to ensure you have get the best support with us but sometimes things do not go to plan, so if you are worried or have a complaint then please do not hesitate to contact us. We will do our best to resolve any issues. 

Are the volunteers safe?


All our volunteers are interviewed, trained and DBS checked to ensure that all our families are placed with somebody safe. 

Can I volunteer?


Are you a parent, Grandparent or carer? Do you have 2-4 hours a week spare? Then click the icon above for more information. 

Do volunteers receive training?


Yes, once we have recruited volunteers we then supply a 10 week preparation course before they go on to support our families. 

Can I volunteer if I have been supported by Home-Start?


Of course you can! We encourage all our previous families to become a Home-Start volunteer for us at Redbridge. Who else understands the most about our charity than someone who has experienced it.   

Can I volunteer at the Home-Start family Group?


Yes you can. If you would like some information and to see if we have any places for volunteers at our family group then please contact us. 

Do you accept donations?


Of course, we survive on donations so anything counts. You can send us a donation via postal or if you enjoy online shopping, by clicking the link at the bottom of the page you can send us a FREE donation.
